Inspired by the first caulked logger boots made by Charles Danner in 1936, the women’s Danner Logger 917 Suede GTX boots update the heritage design with modern comfort and performance.
- Suede leather uppers are cut from a pattern that’s a reinterpretation of the original logger boots
- 100% waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX liners ensure that no water gets in, while allowing sweat and moisture to get out
- Because you can never have too many laces, this pair of boots comes with an alternate pair of laces
- Removable OrthoLite® footbeds are made of open-cell polyurethane for heat dissipation and air circulation; 3 layers of varying density provide maximum cushioning and support
- Boots include a pair of kilties, sometimes called false tongues, that help protect the leather from debris that collects on the laces
- Vibram® SPE midsoles have rubberized EVA that maintains the same cushioning properties as traditional EVA, but is more durable; it enhances rebound, comfort and support
- Exclusive outsoles for Danner, the Vibram 917 outsoles feature XS Trek rubber compound for an optimal balance of durability and traction on wet trails or city streets
- Modernized stitchdown construction combines traditional stitchdown technique with cup sole construction, allowing the boots to keep a wider platform
- The construction technique also eliminates the need for a buffed sidewall, giving the boots a modern aesthetic and lightweight, flexible finish
- Fit true to size; easy to wear and comfortable for use in a variety of casual environments
